The KAYE “All-Terrain” Wheels, which are available for both the KAYE Posture Control and PostureRest Walkers, facilitate this outdoor use. Examples include: gravel playgrounds; grassy parks; dirt campgrounds; sport fields; firm beaches; and light snow.

The “All-Terrain” Wheels are particularly useful when combined with PostureRest Walkers: wheels make the terrain more navigable and the seat allows a greater range in environments that may not have seating facilities available.
The front wheels are 9” diameter and 11 /4” wide. The back wheels are 5” diameter and 1” wide. These large wheels require less energy when pushing the walker across rough, uneven terrain. The rear wheels include external ratchets to prevent rolling backward. The “All-Terrain” Wheels replace the legs and wheels (or crutch tips) and are designed to retrofit all but the smallest of our Posture Walkers with or without seats.
