This practical aid engages the patient when transferring from one seated position to another.
It offers security for the person being transferred and will not strain the caregiver’s back. The patient controls how he or she stands up. This reduces the risk of falling, and it allows the carer to work in an ergonomically correct manner. Only the height of the handle and the knee brace need adjusting. Handle adjusts from 40˝” to 50” and the platform disk is 17”in diameter. The knockdown function allows the Turner to be folded easily for storage and transport. Weight capacity 330 lbs.
A free standing rotating transfer aid with a foot operated lockable circular base (the base locks in place when the patient stands on it; the lock is released when the caregiver presses down on the pedal.) and transport wheels. The vertical support bar is fitted with two adjustable height padded knee supports and an adjustable height tubular enclosed handle on top of the frame. The Disc facilitates standing and seat transfers. It is manually operated by an attendant.

METHOD OF USE
Place the Turner in front of the care recipient and ensure their feet are placed in the middle of the turning plate and that their knees are at the correct angle. The right height for the handle can be adjusted in one operation.
Take hold of the handle with both hands and tread on the turning plate. Gently put your weight behind the device and ask the care recipient to get up with the aid of the handle. Then pivot the disk.
