The Abdominal Pad supports the chest at the child's sternum. As the child begins walking, the trunk can be fully supported by the abdominal pad with the shoulders slightly ahead of the pelvis. This is particularly appropriate for children who are unable to hold onto a walker with their hands and who cannot fully support their weight on their feet.
