This innovative system was designed using Leckey’s child centered approach to product development. This approach considers both the physical and social needs of children when creating the aesthetics, function and design of their products. The MYGO breaks new ground by offering the most complete and easily adjustable range of features of any seating system including:
• A flexible sacral cushion designed to position the pelvis in a neutral or slightly anterior tilt to help prevent sacral sitting or posterior pelvic tilt. An Obliquity ramp for increased cushion and pelvic tilt.
• A ramped seat base cushion, which is ramped at the gluteal crease to help prevent pelvic excursion.
• A pelvic positioning harness with adjustable hip guides offers comfortable positioning and helps maintain medial alignment. Small harness must
be ordered separately.
• Independently adjustable upper leg supports accommodate leg length discrepancy and
correct, or accommodate, abduction, adduction
and wind sweeping.
• Optional multi-positional footplates allow the feet to be positioned behind the knees in cases where the child has tight hamstrings or fixed flexion
at the knees.
• Anatomically correct backrest pivot point is adjustable in depth and height to accommodate posture and growth.
