It's much wider than the typical donut, slightly contoured and has handgrips for easy portability. Elevates the seat by 4in (10.2 cm).
For a more permanent attachment to the bowl, the patented Lok-In-El(R) Bracket can be purchased separately.
Standard toilet seats come with a Lok-In-El(R) Slip-In Bracket that provides a fast, convenient and safe way to secure the seat.
Elongated toilet seats come with the Lok-In-El(R) Bolt-Down Bracket that holds the elevated seat securely on elongated toilet bowls. Full inner ring contact with the bowl is not required. Product will support up to 300lbs.
Toilet Seat Sizing:
Typically there are only two general types for toilets: Standard or Elongated
To determine which size toilet you have, and thus which size toilet seat will fit your toilet, you will need a measuring tape. Measure the length of the toilet bowl from the hinge post holes to the front rim.
If the length is about 16-17 inches, a standard toilet seat will fit your toilet.
If the length is 18-19 inches, an elongated/oblong toilet seat will fit.
Both toilet seat sizes have a width of about 14-14.5 inches, and in the United States, the distance between the hinge post holes is about 5.5 inches. Most older toilets are the standard (round bowl).
Please take the time to measure and know which type of toilet you have, as our hygiene products are not returnable.
