The efficient ergonomic design allows the Sting to increase a child's independence. This is the world’s smoothest rolling pediatric wheelchair. Both the seat and the footrest can be adjusted in height, depth, and angle. The footrest swings under the seat for transfers, or can be fixed in place.
Thanks to the innovative seating comfort system, the backrest and seat upholstery contour to each child’s body to provide exceptional comfort, correct posture, and control needed to push the wheelchair.
Standard features:
Frame: Steel tubing, rigid frame with fold-down backrest.
Brakes: Mounted at knee height with long brake handles.
Backrest: Fold down. Adjustable between 10" and 14".
Backrest angle: Standard is -3°. Alternative angles; -10°, -8°, -5°, 0°, & +3°.
Seat: Adjustable in height and angle.
Seat upholstery: Depth adjustable with lacing.
Back upholstery: Individually adjustable with velcro straps for added comfort.
Dark grey velour upholstery. Removeable and washable.
Camber angle: Standard 3°.
Rear wheels: 22" quick-release rear wheels with high pressure tires and aluminum handrims.
11 alternative positions for rear wheels.
Castor: 5" Solid
Front fork: Short with steel axle, 3 alternative caster positions.
Fork housing: Angle adjustable.
Legrest hanger: Swing under.
