The Cougar comes in 4 sizes and 3 colors and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It has been crash tested and approved for transporting users in motor vehicles. Choose from different wheel sizes, brake systems etc.
The Cougar comes with different types of backs. Contoured cushion and solid wood plate for comfort and stability. Thin cushion and strap back for less support and more adjustment posibilities. Finally the Cougar comes with the possibility of fitting other manufacturers back systems. With the round tubes on the back, almost any special back fits on the Cougar.
Optimum Comfort and Seating Position
The patented recline system ensures a minimum of shear and makes it possible to change the seating position whenever needed.
Back recline
A major difference between the Cougar and other wheelchairs is the patented recline system whereby the pivot point is ergonomically correct through the hip joint and the seat is allowed to slide within the frame so as to keep the center of gravity correct.
Tilt-in-Space
A tilt-in-space system that allows the center of gravity of the chair to be automatically corrected with the user in position therefore ensuring a stable chair at all times in any position.
