Posey Soft Splints feature soft, 100% cotton lining with a vinyl mesh outer covering that is lightweight and comfortable.
Splints are available in six sizes and can be used on the wrist, hand, elbow, or knee. The Posey Soft Splints are ideal for preventing tube pulling and IV immobilization and they are filled with polystyrene beads and have a zippered opening, enabling beads to be added or removed for patient accomodation. The hook and loop closures ensure easy application and removal by the caregiver. The Splints have been effective in the passive treatment of Ulnar Neuropathies when worn to prevent flexion during sleep. Soft Splints have also been found to be effective during IV therapy and on extremities requiring treatment for compound fracture wounds. Machine washable.
To determine size, measure circumference of limb at joint.
