The next generation in healthcare beds the Arro, provides the greatest travel range of any bed in the industry, moving from a low height of 6 ¾ to 33 inches, all in a perfectly vertical motion. ***Includes Designer Series Head/Footboard.***
The low height of 6 ¾ inches helps to reduce the number and severity of fall injuries for residents. The high height of 33-inches allows staff to move the bed comfortably and safely, at an ergonomically correct height, saving staff from bending and moving the bed in the low position. The Arro's vertical travel ensures the bed will move straight up and down during height adjustments. As a result, the Arro will never damage walls and takes up the smallest footprint in a room.
Detachable Mattress Deck - This fiber composite deck will never rust or tear bedding the way spring decks can. Detachable into four sections for easy cleaning. Available with a 20-year warranty!
Carroll Assist Rail (TM)- Meets all FDA bedrail entrapment guidelines! Moves into three positions: Assist which aids in resident bed transfers, Guard which helps residents identify the edges of the bed, and Transfer which provides staff with unobstructed access to the resident.
A 14-function Attendant Control Panel (ACP - Membrane) available on Arro beds (models 151 and 171). This feature allows staff to easily operate all functions of the bed from the footboard. In addition, staff can choose to restrict access to the resident by locking out any or all functions of the Hand Control directly from the ACP. A unique Mobility Safety Sensor is standard on the ACP, designed to ensure the Arro bed is never accidentally raised onto its casters. On Arro bed model 171 the ACP also includes Trendelenburg, Reverse Trendelenburg and Auto Contour functions, while an Emergency CPR function is optional.
The Arro's 6-function electric Hand Control, with bright, universal symbols, allows residents and staff to easily operate the comfort controls of the bed. The Hand Control is completely fluid-proof, shock-resistant and impact-resistant, ensuring maximum durability. The various functions of the Hand Control can be locked-out from the optional footboard Attendant Control Panel. A Hand Control holster conveniently fastens the Hand Control to the bedrail for easy access in all bedrail positions. A linen clip is also available to attach the Hand Control to bed linens. In the event of a power failure, an emergency override system is standard equipment.
The Arro bed is completely stable throughout its travel range, resting on rubberized feet. When the bed is elevated to its highest height it rotates onto four total-swivel casters for easy mobility.
Arro headboards and footboards are available in two styles. The first style, the Designer Series, has a 3/4" board thickness and is available in four board patterns and six colors. The second style, the ThinkSoft(TM) Series, offers an additional element of resident safety with its rounded design and T-molded edges. ThinkSoft(TM) Series headboards and footboards are 1 1/8" thick and are available in the Americana pattern in four colors.
