Residents who fall out of bed have always been a concern for long-term care facilities. Regular beds do not provide the safe resting height that confused residents need, placing them in a potentially dangerous situation. ***2-3 week lead time.***
A trusted and well known name in the industry, Solo allows residents to rest at a safe low resting height of 7 7/8”, while enabling staff to raise the bed to a comfortable working height of 25” with the touch of a button. Available with a wide range functional features, it’s easy to see why Solo is an industry favorite.
Designed with the resident in mind, the Carroll Assist Rail (TM) offers assistance without restraints. The rail provides residents with an unencumbered environment at rest, and, when not required, moves easily out of the way with a quick release button permitting unobstructed access to your residents. The rail also serves as a stable assist device, making it very easy for residents to enter and exit the bed. The Carroll Assist Rail (TM) passes all new FDA guidelines for bedrail entrapment. Carroll Assist Rail (TM) is standard on the Solo bed.
Detachable Mattress Deck - This fiber composite deck will never rust or tear bedding the way spring decks can. Detachable into four sections for easy cleaning. Available with a 20-year warranty!
Our 6-function Hand Control is completely fluid-proof, shock-resistant, and impact-resistant, ensuring durability. A standard hi-low lock-out switch restricts the hi-low function of the Hand Crontol. Our new Hand Control Holster conveniently fastens the Hand Control to the bedrail for easy access in all rail positions.
Solo headboards and footboards are available in two styles. The first style, the Designer Series, has a 3/4" board thickness and is available in four board patterns and six colors. The second style, the ThinkSoft (TM) Series headboards and footboards are 1 1/8" thick and are available in the Americana pattern in four colors. Invacare's full line of headboard styles are optional.
The Solo's Central Immobilization System raises the casters off the floor. The bed is immobilized throughout its entire height range providing additional stability for residents and staff.
Optional 9-function attendant control panel allows staff to operate the controls of the bed from the footboard. In addition, staff can restrict resident access to any or all functions of the Hand Control.
