The Cando (R) TBS (TM) Bar is a flexible device that utilizes inertia to generate muscle contractions.
When you shake the bar by either end, the opposing end flexes and accelerates, creating a force. The resistance needed to control this force increases as the amount of flexing at the end(s) of the bar increase(s). The bar's movement requires you to contract your muscles (exert resistance) in order to neutralize these forces.
You can regulate the amount of force required to control the bar by changing to a different resistant bar.
Like the shorter Cando(R) twist-n-bend(TM) bar, the Cando(R) oscillation bar can be used to perform resistive exercises by twisting the bar and by bending the bar.
