The time and date are set via RF signal from the US Atomic clock in Colorado for precise time that automatically adjusts to daylight savings time. The current time can be projected onto the wall or ceiling and are easily visible via the extra large display on the clock itself. Add to that US map with designated time zones, a calendar displaying the date and month, the indoor temperature, moon phase display, dual crescendo alarm with snooze and more, and you've got one dynamite time piece.
