How well a person hears can substantially affect their ability to learn. Too often, people with hearing difficulties have the challenge of learning compounded by background noise. To help, Williams Sound developed the HEARING HELPER Personal FM System. How It Works: These Personal FM Systems are designed to broadcast the speaker’s voice directly to the ears of individual listener. While the speaker wears a compact transmitter and microphone, listeners use portable receivers and earphones to hear the speaker clearly and easily, even from the back of the classroom. Easy To Setup & Use: The PFM 300 systems operate on 2 AA batteries and include the PFM T30 Transmitter and portable PFM R32 receiver. The systems operate over a range of 150 feet and for about 10 hours per charge. The T30 Transmitter and R32 receivers are field-tuneable over 10 wideband channels. Hearing Aid Use: Receivers can be used with a hearing aid, single or dual earphone, headphones, or custom earmold drivers to suit a wide range of hearing losses. An optional neckloop tele-coil coupler is available for use with telecoil-equipped hearing aids. Each system includes: (1) FM Body Pack Transmitter (PFM T30), (1) FM Personal Receiver (PFM R32), (1) Mini Lapel Clip Mic (MIC 081), (1) Single Earphone (EAR 013), (1) Soft Nylon System Carry Case (CCS 020), (2) Belt Clip Cases (CCS 021), (4) AA Alkaline Batteries and Instruction Manual.
