This reading machine scans, reads, edits and saves text. Multiple options include your choice of speech (female/English or male/German), adjustable voice rate and pitch, scan single or multiple pages, column recognition, punctuation recognition, pause between words, recording settings (for use with included microphone to record document titles), ability to create, save and delete documents in folders, and a control panel with templates included to mask non-essential features affording easier functionality for visually impaired users. Place any printed text document on the flat-bed scanner and the LIBRA II automatically recognizes the page orientation, converts the text into spoken language and reads it aloud to you. Scanner/Reader measures 16” long x 15” wide x 4” high.
