Help prevent burn contractures with this durable splint. Made of 1/8in (3.2mm) coated, beige NCM Spectrum splinting material. Modify with a heat gun or by immersing in 160 degree F (71 degree C) water. Keeps the hand in an intrinsic-plus position. Ideal for positioning hands following burn injuries, tendon transfers or trauma.The wrist is positioned at 20 degree to 30 degree extension, MPs at 60 degree to 70 degree flexion, IP extended and thumb in mid-abduction/extension position. Clean with antiseptic.
To size, measure width at MP joints.
Small fits Up to 3 1/2in (up to 8.9cm)
Medium fits up to 3 1/2in to 4in(8.9 to 10cm)
Large fits up 4in and up(10cm and up)
