Joints are constructed of 1/8in (3.2mm) thick anodized aluminum. Ideal for post-operative indications, fracture bracing and post-cast management. R.O.M. Joints may be used for serial splinting to reduce soft tissue contracture following elbow or wrist arthroplasty and wherever limited range of motion is indicated for joint protection. U.S. Patent 4,337,764. The Elbow R.O.M. Joint has two 7in (18cm) long arms joined at an axis point. Weighs only 2-1/2 oz. (70.9g).Allen screws allow adjustment from fully blocked to full ROM. Each adjustment represents a 15 degree change in ROM. Full ROM. is possible with the allen screws removed.
