The Playmaker Headgear is a protective helmet designed for wear by children who have balance disabilities, head/skull injuries, or seizures. The unique web shell of this helmet provides both comfort and safety. Made with 3/8-inch thick EVR rubber foam that absorbs and then disperses the energy throughout the headgear. This ensures total protection and reduces the chance of serious head injury. Adjustable laces at the back of the helmet help achieve a custom fit. The lightweight, breathable, hand washable design prevents perspiration build-up and odors. Velcro chin strap. [There is no opening over the ear, but the breathable material should not impair hearing ability.]
