This quiet, battery-operated self-feeding device is ideal for people who cannot use their arms or hands to eat independently. Three modes of operation for independent eating. Only a small amount of neck movement is required for use. Accommodates three bowls of food. Hot and cold foods, and liquids, can be served.
Most users will operate using two adaptive switches for the greatest control. One switch controls food/bowl turning, while the second switch controls spoon movement. However, using adaptive switches can be demanding for some individuals. Therefore, the Butler can be operated using one switch or fully automatically.
The Butler can serve meals and snacks for a full day before requiring overnight recharging. The support arm permits the Butler to accommodate a diverse range of user seating and positioning needs including wheelchair users and those who cannot sit at a table to eat. The Butler can be placed on a table for people who are able to sit at a table. Optional legs can be installed to adjust the height to suit the user.
Includes support arm clamp, support arm, two adaptive switches, one factory-installed, internal battery, one A/C charger adapter, six bowls, three spoons and nine bowl covers (3 low, 3 medium and 3 high). Weighs 15 lbs. (6.8kg) and transports in the included, wheeled case. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth. Spoons, bowls and covers are dishwasher and microwave safe.
