More Information

The Anti-Spasticity Ball Splint places the hand in a flexion-inhibiting position while still maintaining the hand arches. This pre-formed splint is ideal for positioning the spastic hand. A padded hand strap is anchored with a rivet for secure positioning. The splint is made of 1/8" thick splinting material. It can be adjusted and molded with a heat gun or by softening the material by immersing the splint in 160 degree F (71 C) water for a unique fit to the user. The Anti-Spasticity Ball Splint is latex free. The ball splint is available in 3 sizes, ranging from small to large.

The splint itself is a good fit but the Velcro straps need some work. Not very user friendly especially if the user has to put it on unaided.

Not quite what I expected.

breaks at the wrist cutting off your circulation

The hand piece is hard to mold to fit and the straps awkward to place.

Its a great product! It really helps keep my moms fingers separated comfortably and she prefers this to anything else we have tried.
The only improvement I would suggest is to make the straps last longer or have a way to replace and order just the straps. Over daily use, they fray and loose elasticity. About every 4-5 months we need to reorder
a new one. We may end up with a "bone pile" of plastic hands. LOL

It works.

It is doing the job of keeping my hand from falling asleep. I just have to get use to having it on all night.

Velcro sticky side will not stay attached. Should have used rivet with velcro strap that sticks to itself

Posted By:

Its very big and bulky. Its only good for sleeping.

Helps stretch the hand.

LOVE THIS !! It has greatly helped my moms hand after her stroke. I would only advise a better way to attach straps as even Gorilla Brand super glue has a hard time holding the Velcro dots in place. Otherwise, its the best idea ever!! Everyone has lived it too.
