Comfyprene Goniometer Elbow Orthosis from Comfy Splints are designed by therapists and engineers individuals with non-fixed contractures increase their mobility and increase their elbow extension. The materials make this excellent for use after sports injuries, cast removal, in sports medicine, or for supporting weakened extremities related to neurological complications.

With Comfy Splints patented Goniometer dial, the orthosis has the same benefits as serial casting and allows for the progressive extension of the elbow in 5-degree increments within a single splint. It has a graduated extension of the elbow while helping restrict arthritic changes and deformity caused by minor neuromuscular impairment. The goniometer hinge allows one to set a range within which the elbow can flex and extend and it can also lock at a desired degree of extension. The inclusion of the ridged dial to the splints construction allows for the device to be adjusted, comfortable, and removed with an Allen key.

The Comfyprene material inserts are soft, rounded, and slim for everyday comfort and minimize self-injury. This material helps position a flaccid elbow and arm in a functional position without causing further injury. Likewise, it helps maintain skin integrity by absorbing moisture, allowing air circulation, and preventing skin maceration. The splint is lightweight and durable because it is neoprene foam-lined for comfort and prevents pressure areas utilizing its slim profile. Likewise, it uses velcro straps to position and close the splint anywhere for optimal fit.
