    Pushed my wife out of the chair.
    First time my wife used she eventually slipped out of the wheel chair. We only use it as the wet cushion when transferring from pool or bath. It is a single gel pocket so if the patient is a little forward, the gel moves to back of the cushion.If the patient moves forward a little, more gel moves to the back. Scooting back is up hill. The patient has to push the front although that is where their weight is. We feel sitting on this cushion without paying attention to it all the time is dangerous.

    Good cushion, doesnt last long
    I have ordered several of these cushions over the past few years because they are a good price, particularly if you are paying out-of-pocket. They are very comfortable for my son, who is 27 years old, 155 lbs, and a full time wheelchair user. However, they must be replaced regularly as they bottom out in the center. The cushion I purchased in February, 2015 needed to be replaced in November, 2015. Not only did it bottom out, but the gel inside burst open and leaked into the foam. There is an 18 month warranty for this cushion, but the manufacturer, Drive, said that both the bottoming out and the burst gel were the result of normal wear and tear and would not honor the warranty. If the cushion user is prone to pressure sores, you can buy this cushion, but be pro-active and replace it before 9 months. The cushion we purchased in November, 2015 is already showing slight signs of bottoming out.
