The wrist stabilization tool includes the hand anchor, a wrist pad, and wrist strap. Though the Rifton Wrist Anchor is small, it plays a large role in assisting those with disabilities improve their functional abilities in the classroom, community, and home. Like the rest of the Rifton anchor family, the wrist stabilizer is equipped with a sturdy suction cup under the base which must be place on smooth, flat, and horizontal surfaces.

To illustrate the importance of using the Rifton Wrist Anchor, take into consideration a patient that has spastic hemiplegia, which falls under the mobility impairment of cerebral palsy (CP).
