More Information

The TABGRABBER WheelchairTablet Mounting System allows wheelchair users to mount their tablet computers to the wheelchair. Without having to hold the unit, the wheelchair user can still have an interactive experience with technology.

TABGRABBER Wheelchair Tablet Mounting System Parts
Using a unique swivel head set-up, the Tab Grabber adjusts to any orientation for optimal viewing and interactive positioning. Traditional mounting points usually run along the tablet's corners and interfere with eReader controls on the tablet's edge, but the retractable Tab Grabber clips mount anywhere along the edge, assuring easy access to all controls.

A base clamp mounts to round tubing, measuring up to 1 1/8" diameter. This will accommodate any wheelchair frame size. The flexible yet sturdy gooseneck arm will hold the unit in place for touch screen use but can swing out of the way when entering or exiting the chair.

Operating the TABGRABBER Wheelchair Tablet Mounting System
To achieve the greatest stability, the TABGRABBER Wheelchair Tablet Mounting System mounting clamp is best attached to a vertical frame on the wheelchair such as the armrest support. Once secured, the flexible gooseneck arm allows the unit to be swung to the side for ease of wheelchair entry and exit. At the same time, the arm is stiff enough to provide a firm position for touchscreen applications. The "head" of the TABGRABBER Wheelchair Tablet Mounting System will swivel on multiple axis's to provide optimal positioning. The tablet is mounted to the head by means of four retractable clips attached to elasticized cord that can be mounted to the corners or anywhere along the edge. This cases will work with the unit but thicker protective cases may prevent mounting clips from properly grabbing the tablet.

Caring for the TABGRABBER Wheelchair Tablet Mounting System
Wipe the unit with a cloth and mild spray cleaner such as glass cleaner. Do not submerge.

Table Clamp
An optional Table Clamp is also available as an alternate base clamp for the TABGRABBER. It can replace the base clamp of the Tab Grabber.

TABGRABBER Wheelchair Tablet Mounting System and Table Clamp Warranty
The TABGRABBER Mounting System and Table Clamp are guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects.

The TABGRABBER Wheelchair Tablet Mounting System is not recommended for wheelchair users who tend to move unpredictably because the chance of injury is increased when when coming into contact with the unit. Wheelchair users who tend to treat wheelchair attachments roughly have a high likelihood of breaking one or more components of this device.
