The Xeroform Gauze Dressing are wound dressings made from a yellow gauze material that measures 5 x 9 inches and is designed to help cover and protect wounds after injuries, surgeries, and any other circumstances that may have caused a wound. The gauze dressings are impregnated with xeroform petrolatum that aids with both healing and reliving of wounds and injuries due to the petrolatum laced into the bandages. The gauze uses the petrolatum to keep the area of the wounds or injuries moistened so that they dont dry out while also protecting them from any potential risks of infection.
The gauzes are made to be sterile so that they can help protect open wounds from the risk of infection, and they contain bismuth tribromophenate (Xeroform) which is a special deodorizing agent that helps to keep wounds and injuries from gaining a foul stench after being wrapped up for long periods so that it can help increase comfort levels to ensure that the user can recover comfortably.
The material of the gauze and the laced ingredients help to promote healing by maintaining a moist wound environment which helps to keep the area from drying out which can cause a slowed healing process and, in some cases, can increase the risk of infection due to bacteria. These gauzes provide soothing non-adherent protection with more convenience, less mess, and freshens as it protects.
