| Comments: | My 87 yr old grandmother rejected the standard type walker because it made her look "helpless". The rollator type walker was just too complicated and with four wheels, I felt, unsafe for her. She continued to use the 4pt cane she was so used to, but she wasnt able to walk any reasonable distance without holding on to someones arm. Her gait was like a toddlers, wide and unsteady and her legs often swelled after walking during the day. A professor of mine recommended the pilot walker so my family and I bought it for her. Shes gained an incredible amount of independence and she loves how steady it feels. Shes using it everyday and loves to pull the seat down and rest when she needs to. |
