Provides light support to the thumb MP and partial restriction of the thumb CMC following ligament injuries or fractures, or for arthritis.
Comfortable, lightweight thumb support. Provides light support to the thumb MP and partial restriction of the thumb CMC following ligament injuries or fractures, or for arthritis. Shorter length allows full wrist ROM. Measure hand width at MP joints. Made of Velfoam(r) padding, self-wicking lining and aluminum stays. Contoured aluminum stay fits the proximal phalanx, thenar eminence and radial side of the wrist. Aluminum reinforcement can be bent by hand for a custom fit. Machine wash and dry.
To size, measure thumb length from IP joint to wrist and circumference at IP joint. Refer to chart below. If hand width falls between two sizes, use the next larger size. Choose Left or Right.
