This moldable dressing is composed of a hydrocolloid adhesive and a low-friction, polyurethane film outer cover. It is impermeable to liquids and bacteria and permeable to oxygen and water vapor.
The dressing absorbs wound fluids, swells and forms a gel that covers the wound bed, maintaining moisture and protecting newly formed tissue during dressing changes. For light to moderately exudating wounds; the border won’t roll or stick, helping to increase wear time. Sterile.
