This preformed splint comfortably positions the spastic hand. Choose size from information below. Should be used under supervision of medical personnel.
This preformed splint comfortably positions the spastic hand. Made of 1/8in (3.2mm) splinting material. Also available with straps in 1/8in (3.2mm) and 1/16in (1.6mm). Places the thumb in a 45 degree extension between palmar and radial abduction. Adjust with a heat gun or by immersing the splint in 160 degrees F (72 degrees C) water. Strap styles include two 2in (5cm) wide and one 1-1/2in (3.8cm) wide CushionStraps(tm).
How to Size Preformed Splints:To determine the correct size, measure hand width at finger MP joints. If the hand width falls between two sizes, use the next larger size.
*Small:Up to 3-1/2in (Up to 8.9cm)
**Medium:3-1/2in to 4in (8.9 to 10cm)
***Large:4in and Up (10cm and Up)
