1/8in (3.2mm) without Straps. This preformed splint comfortably positions the spastic hand. Should be used under the supervision of medical personnel.
Made of 1/8in (3.2mm) splinting material. Also available with straps in 1/8in (3.2mm) and 1/16in (1.6mm). Places the thumb in a 45 degree extension between palmar and radial abduction. Adjust with a heat gun or by immersing the splint in 160 degrees F (72 degrees C) water. Strap styles include two 2in (5cm) wide and one 1-1/2in (3.8cm) wide CushionStraps(tm). Pediatric sizing available only in 1/8in without straps.
How to Size Preformed Splints:
To determine the correct size, measure hand width at finger MP joints. If the hand width falls between two sizes, use the next larger size.
*Small: Up to 3-1/2in (Up to 8.9cm)
**Medium:3-1/2in to 4in (8.9 to 10cm)
***Large:4in and Up (10cm and Up)
