For non-fixed contractures of the elbow. Use to increase elbow extension. Works in the same manner as serial casting, gradually adjusting the amount of extension.
Included allen wrench adjusts angle on hinge goniometer from 0 to 180 degrees in 10 degree increments. Blocks flexion or extension while allowing motion in opposite direction. Also may be set in the desired static position. Machine wash terry cloth covers and straps. Fits either the left or right arm. Child's size Large orthosis measures 8in (20cm) long, and 6in (15cm) across the mid forearm and mid humerus sections. Adult size orthosis measures 10-1/2in (27cm) long, and 7in (18cm) across the mid forearm and mid humerus sections. Adult size fits most adults. Orthoses generally fit a little more than half the circumference of the supported area.
