The 5/8in (16mm) diameter dowel provides easy gripping. One end of the shaft has a "C" hook and the other end has a push-pull hook. The length of this dressing stick eliminates unnecessary bending, making it ideal for persons with decreased hip flexion or limited upper extremity movement. Plastic-coated hooks reduce scratches and snags. The 27in (69cm) stick weighs less than 5 oz. (142g). The 18in (46cm) stick weighs 3 oz. (85g). Also available in a convenient collapsible model that measures 27-1/2in (70cm). When collapsed, each piece measures 14-1/2in (37cm).
