This forearm-based thumb splint offers the greatest support in an ultra-light splint.
This forearm-based thumb splint offers the greatest support in an ultra-light splint. Made of ultra-thin polypropylene. Use this splint to immobilize the thumb CMC and MP joints and still offer control at the wrist. Ideal for the treatment of tendinitis, tenosynovitis, ligament injuries, thumb/wrist arthritis and following fracture cast removal. May be trimmed with scissors. Wash in cold or hot water.
To size, measure circumference at MP joints.
Small: 6-1/4in to 7-1/8in (16 to 18cm).
Medium 7-1/8in to 8-1/4in (18 to 21cm).
Large 8-1/4in to 9-1/4in (21 to 23cm).
