The PedAlert weight-bearing monitor is ideal for clients with hip fractures, hip replacements, foot ulcers and other conditions that require weight-bearing limitation or weight transfer training. ***Lead time is 14 business days.***
Especially useful for clients whose cognitive status prevents self-monitoring. Simply set the prescribed weight-bearing threshold (toe touch to 100+ lbs.). The advanced membrane sensor in the cast shoe constantly monitors the weight placed on the lower limb. Adjustable warning tone signals when the threshold is met or exceeded. Latex free.
Lightweight and easy to use. Complete with cast shoe sensor system, electronics module, connection cable, 9V battery, instruction manual and warranty.

- Model 100 monitors the force placed on the entire foot

How PedAlert Works:
PedAlert is easy to use and can be fully operational in minutes:
Place the cast shoe over the patient's foot, shoe or cast.
Use a floor scale to set the prescribed weight-bearing threshold.
As the patient walks, PedAlert monitors the weight placed on the foot.
A warning tone indicates that the prescribed weight threshold is exceeded.
