This bench is recommended for use by children, preteens, and adolescents who are working on developing weight shift and balance activities. When used in its usual manner, it encourages lateral weight shift activities as it has a wide base of support and subtle rocking capabilities. When used as a straddle bench, it blocks the knees from rolling in during anterior/posterior weight shift activities.
