The Junior Joyrider feature a heavy duty steel frame, unique swing-away handlebars, and a cozy molded seat for hours of confident fun.
Features:
• The open frame allows for entry and exit of the cycle without stepping over a bar.
• Locking the parking brake, individuals in wheelchairs or walkers can easily transfer themselves to and from the cycle by holding onto the handlebar. (Optional handle stop part # 19275 must be installed).
• Sliding seat adjusts for years of growth.
• Gearing is available as freewheel, coaster brake, 3 speed coaster brake and direct drive.
• Caregiver handle (part # 20128) provides control of the cycle for the caregiver. Easily bolts off and on.
• Heel support/footstrap assemblies (Optional heel support/ footstrap part # 17724) are an option for individuals that have coordination or learning disabilities and certain physical challenges such as shortened ligaments, turned foot and muscular weakness.
• Adding the Caregiver Handle and Heel Support Foot Straps with direct drive gearing, the caregiver can push the cycle and provide the riders legs exercise while working as a teaching aide for pedaling.
• The three point Harness System (optional part # 19970) is perfect for individuals that have the inability to sit upright, severe balance control and spasms or lack of body control as found with some forms of Autism and Parkinson’s.

• Seat is 12” in width. Measure the person’s hip across rear from hip to hip for accurate sizing.
• Measure the leg from thigh to flat foot.
• When sitting in the seat, the extended leg on furthermost pedal should be slightly bent.
