Static treatment tables come in a variety of different sizes, but are generally 18 to 21 inches high, which is the optimal height for therapists and the best height for easy wheelchair accessible transfers. Treatment tables are generally constructed of either steel, hardwood such as oak or maple, or steel reinforced laminate. The sturdiest treatment mats have triple bolted legs with reinforced centers. Weight capacity for treatment tables ranges from 300-1000 lbs. Special features include folding backrests, under table cabinet storage and optional Hi-Lo manual hand cranks to adjust table height. For facilities with limited space, wall mounted treatment tables can be folded against the wall and stored when not in use.
Treatment mats come in a variety of colors, are covered in tear resistant, antimicrobial vinyl and are easy to clean. Treatment mats are either removable or upholstered permanently on the table top and are filled with two inch thick comfortable and sturdy Urethane foam. Some treatment mats are equipped with a bumper guard to prevent tears on the edges of the mat. Optional treatment mat accessories include wedges, pillows and other positional devices.
