Stationary Platform Wheelchair Scale

Detecto's FHD scales sport large 36-inch or 48-inch square weighing platforms with a 1,000-pound weight capacity, capable of accommodating all types of patients and wheelchairs, as well as walkers and other transportation devices. Made of slip-resistant, textured material and designed to be low-profile, these scales promote safety and accessibility for the patient during weighing while taking up minimal space in the room. Guardrails on the sides of the access ramp further increase security for the patient as they maneuver themselves on and off the scale.

The scale's weight indicator is connected to the platform by a 15-foot long cable, enabling it to be positioned at the ideal location in the room for it to be easily read by the medical professional. Indicators display clinically accurate weight readings in easily legible LCD digits and provide a tare system to conveniently remove wheelchair weight from the readout, allowing professionals to focus on the patient during the weighing procedure. The scale is powered by either 6 C batteries (not included with purchase) or an optional AC adapter that comes with some models.

The Stationary Platform Wheelchair Scale can only be used on top of floor installations; please consult the factory for pit-type installations. The output of the wheelchair scale can be transferred to EMR/EHR through serial, USB, or optional Ethernet ports, while the optional WiFi connectivity is sold separately. Output to PCs and printers is also available.
