Sunrise Medical Jay J2 Plus Wheelchair Cushion

The Jay® J2 Plus Cushion is constructed with mild leg trough cutouts and medial thigh supports that are designed to provide patients with proper positioning of the thighs and pelvis for bariatric clients. It is also designed with an anterior slope that opens the hip angle to provide the patient with a more upright posture. The Jay® J2 Plus Cushions is constructed of closed cell foam for easy modifications.

This Jay Cushion is available with a variety of insert options. The Jay® Flow fluid tripad conforms to each patient's shape while adjusting to sitting positions, and ensuring the patient with the proper amount of fluid placement beneath the bony prominences. The Jay® Flow fluid tripad is ideal for patients at a high risk of skin breakdown. The Visco Memory Foam can be layered to create a variety of combinations that are suitable for each individual client. The Visco Memory Foam option is ideal for patients who are at a low risk of developing skin breakdown.

The Jay® J2 Plus Cushions come equipped with a removable urethane inner cover and an air exchange or moisture resistant cover. The removable urethane inner cover is designed to protect the foam base from moisture build up. This cover is easy to wipe off and keep clean. Choose from either an air exchange cover or a moisture resistant cover for the cushions outer cover. The air exchange cover is designed to promote the amount of airflow and dissipate heat and moisture to keep the patient dry and clean. The moisture resistant cover is a low shear cover that is designed to reduce friction and shear against the patient while also protecting the foam base from any moisture build up.
