Leckey 3-in-1 Squiggles Stander Package

The Leckey 3-in-1 Squiggles Stander Package is designed to offer a convenient and reliable system to support children through the process of standing from prone, supine, or upright. Standing aids in a variety of bodily functions and processes, helping to improve stability, coordination, muscle strength, circulation, bone growth and density, and digestion, making the Squiggles system essential for allowing users to obtain these therapeutic benefits.

Upright positioning is for users that have more controlled balance and trunk control but cannot stand independently. Prone positioning encourages weight bearing for those that need anterior support. Supine positioning provides the most support, angling the user on the back for lateral and anterior support while still allowing for partial weight bearing. In all positions, positioning pads in the chest, sternum, and laterals provide support and stability, encouraging the user to experiment with weight bearing and movement without worrying about safety.

The Squiggles Stander has many adjustable features that allow the physician or caregiver to find the best fit for the individual user. The pelvic support is adjustable in height, depth, width, and angle, promoting correct pelvic posture which betters posture and spinal alignment. Adjustments allow the Squiggles Stander to grow with the child, which when combined with the 3-in-1 design, allow for less transfers and helps to save on future costs.

Squiggles Support Shell: Durable, strong stander frame includes: Hip and chest support with sternum prompt; chest and hip lateral supports; knee cups; footplate; and tray attachment.

Pivot Base: Unique base design offers a wide range of tilt and incline options that adjust from vertical to almost horizontal with pneumatic angle adjustment for three-in-one positioning.

Squiggles Stander Positioning Pads: Pads offer improved comfort and support with breathable covers that are pleasant against the skin and easy to clean to help maintain a hygienic support environment.

Headrest and Laterals: Flat headrest provides a comfortable and supportive posterior rest to stabilize the head and neck, balancing it over the trunk. Laterals are conveniently attached to the edges of the headrest to provide more involved head and neck support for users with less head control.

Leg and Foot Positioning: Cushioned knee cups are individually adjustable in height, angle, rotation, and depth to support the childs knees during supine standing. Sandals are attached to the footplate to provide more stable positioning of the feet. Sandals strap the feet inside and can be individually adjusted to provide optimal support, turning to either the front or back in order to accommodate both standing positions.

Tray: Convenient activity tray is both height and angle adjustable for a versatile work surface that enables easy use for dining, play, and learning.
