The
Maxi Twin and
Maxi Twin Compact feature an open, twin-mast design that increases stability and safety. The masts are ergonomically-designed and can be used as handles at any point on their length, accommodating a wide range of caregiver heights and grip preferences. The open design provides a direct line of sight between the patient and the caregiver and makes access to the device readily available.
The standard lift is capable of lifting up to 400 pounds while the Compact lift can handle 350 pounds, ensuring there's a lift suitable for most patients and even some bariatric patients. Both models run on smooth casters that require minimal effort to steer and position. Unlike other sling lifts, the Maxi Twin features a patent-pending friction solution that prevents the spreader bar, and therefore the patient, from swinging pendulum-like back and forth during transfers.
A comprehensive range of compatible slings and five spreader bars ensure the lift can be used for a variety of applications, including toileting, bathing, transferring to and from bed, transitioning in and out of wheelchairs, and even lifting patients safely from the floor in the event of a fall. An integrated scale is built into the unit and makes weighing patients effortless and painless for both patient and caregiver. The Dynamic Positioning System (DPS) allows caregivers to lift, transfer, and precisely position patients with ease, and make effortless positioning adjustments with the touch of a button.
