The Miranti Height-Adjustable Bath and Shower Stretcher makes transferring patients from their bed to the bath and back against as safe and convenient as possible for both patient and caregiver. In conjunction with battery-powered height-adjustability, the low, wide chassis that lisps easily under most bed frames allows caregivers to position the stretcher as close to the patient as possible. The chair is always ready to go when needed thanks to two included batteries that allow one to always be charging while the other is in use. All adjustable functions are controlled via a handheld remote with a long, flexible cord that allows caregivers to keep control at their fingertips while remaining close to the patient at all times. This both reassures the patient with proximity and ensures caregivers can act quickly in case of an emergency.
Caregivers can drive the stretcher with the comfort-grip handles on the mast or via the ergonomic grips built in to both ends of the stretcher. A curved handle sits over the patient's torso and gives them something stable to hold on to during movement as well as a support to aid in adjusting positions to accommodate caregiver access during bathing. The patient handle swings up out of the way so as not to obstruct transfers onto and off of the stretcher, as well as to stay out of the way of caregivers when bathing.
The stretcher is constructed seamlessly out of one piece of easy-to-clean, hygienic materials. A round, ergonomic cushion serves to support the patient under the knees while the curved shape of the head end of the stretcher supports the head. The head cushion is detachable and can be installed on either end of the stretcher, granting entry access on both sides of the bed and tub. An optional integrated scale allows caregivers to easily weigh patients without needing to transfer them to a separate weighing device.
