Product Overview

The Scotty Kristen Wheelchair Tray uses a center-mount pedestal tray design that fits under the wheelchair seat cushion. The straight pedestal and flat top give side access, so you can still use the wheelchair armrests. This tray easily adapts to many positions and can be modified with accessories such as the fishing rod mount, umbrella mount, or a cupholder.

The Scotty Kristen Wheelchair Tray's removable connectors allow for portability, ensuring that you can take the wheelchair tray with you or leave it at home. The trays are available in flat or bookshelf styles shown below. We recommend the angle adjustable links at both ends, so the tray can be infinitely adjusted in any situation. For ideal working and viewing range, always measure the distance between mounting surface and desired tray height.

What does the stiffening plate do? +

Answer:
Per our warehouse the stiffening plate adds additional stability to the tray. It does this by placing a counterweight on the sliding base.

Ive had one of these trays since 1998! Some of the plastic parts are a bit worn but its still usable. I wanted to order a new one several years ago when a laundry basket with a heavy load of wet laundry cracked the tray, but was told by the dealer that sold me the first one that they were no longer being made. I was sad, and could hardly function in the kitchen. No other tray I tried was as good as my Scotty tray. Fortunately, my engineer husband was able to creat a new top. I was overjoyed when I spotted my tray online and ordered it right away! Its the best thing I own and I cant function in the kitchen or at parties or shopping or at kitty nap time without it. My cat likes to take naps on a towel on top of the tray (the clear top freaks her out). Dont stop making these-they are the best! Now I can help my friends get their own.

I loved the looks and mechanism of the tray. The mounting block under the book shelf was separated when it arrived. What type of adhesive do you use to attach it?
