The TherAdapt Feeding Chair for Kids is a seating system designed specifically to provide appropriate postural positioning and support of a physically challenged child during mealtime. A comfortable seating solution for a child will help provide increased social interaction and socialization with family members and friends as well as to promote a more enjoyable age-appropriate mealtime experience. Correct seating and positioning during meals is an important element in the child's ability to chew and swallow properly and safely. The feeding chair has a wide variety of adjustments to allow for a personalized and comfortable sitting arrangement at a dining or kitchen table to assist with a successful feeding program. Thanks to the freestanding slotted design, the height, depth, and angle of the chair's seat, backrest, and footrest can all be adjusted, ensuring the optimal personalized seating solution. Also included for safety and comfort is an adjustable 1" pelvic positioning belt.
The feeding chair also comes with many optional accessories that include adjustable armrests, seat and back pad set, feeding tray options, an abduction block, optional support kit, a butterfly kit, foot sandals, headrest, heel stop, and support blocks or wedges.
