The Penguin Pediatric Bath Tub Support uses a suction cup to secure to the bottom of a standard-sized tub. The curved shape acts as a cradle to keep children in a proper central position and provide them with a reassuring, enclosed environment; an adjustable abduction pommel sits between the legs to keep children upright and prevent them from sliding down. Both sides are raised to provide trunk support that doesnt limit arm movement. The smooth surface is easy to clean between uses and the lightweight construction is easy to transport and store as needed.

The Penguin Pediatric Bath Tub Support is a simple but valuable aid for bathing children, both special needs and neuro-typical. The ergonomic shape of the basin features a cradle-like curve designed to provide a sense of enclosed safety for the child that limits sensory input; the smooth surface similarly offers minimal tactile experience for children with sensory processing concerns. Unlike other bathing aids that use straps or other securing means that inhibit the caregivers access to the child for bathing, the Penguin uses a gently inclined position and adjustable abduction block to keep children in place; the abduction block can slide back and forth as needed to suit the childs height. The sides of the frame are raised to provide trunk support, keeping the child centered in the seat without obstructing their arm movement.

The entire frame secures to the tub floor with a suction cup that is easily moved if needed but still provides a secure attachment; four points of support extend to the tub floor to ensure the frame can stand up to its weight capacity of 44 pounds. The smooth surface makes the Penguin easy to clean between uses, and its light weight and compact size makes it easy to transport and store as needed.
