The Stationary Extremity WhirlPool treats the upper and lower extremities of the body. These extremities include the hand, forearm, elbow, foot, ankle, and leg. Each whirlpool comes complete with 1/2 horsepower turbine, raising and lowering assembly, and dual Fahrenheit and Celsius thermometer. See additional specifications and images below for information.
The Extremity line of whirlpools deliver the most versatile, economical, and ecological hydrotherapy setup possible. Their compact design saves space and the low-gallon capacity reduces water usage without sacrificing proper treatment. Each unit provides comfortable and effective treatment of precise areas of the body, such as the foot, ankle, and lower leg as well as upper extremities like the elbow, forearm, and hand.
The Stationary Extremity WhirlPool features a seamless welded construction, fabricated from heavy gauge type 304 stainless steel, polished to a satin finish. The tank rim is reinforced with a concealed stainless steel rod. The tank bottom features a seamless, rounded coved design to minimize bacteria buildup. The tank is also provided with an extended stainless steel skirt flush to the floor line to conceal the internal drain piping. A 2" combination drain and overflow, and a filler spout are provided.
Turbine Raising and Lowering Device
This device permits the adjustment of desired height and direction of water agitation towards the area of the body to be treated. It is spring balanced and provided with a locking device.
Turbine Assembly
This acts as an agitator and emptying device. It is equipped with Underwriters Laboratory listed 1/2 HP jet pump motor protected with an ABS plastic shell, an automated thermal overload protector, and lifetime sealed bearings. All parts contacting the water are stainless steel, chrome plated brass and bronze.
Thermometer
This is provided with a dual scale, adjustable calibration, and stem inserts into a retainer to prevent rattled during whirlpool agitation.
15 Gallon Stationary Extremity WhirlPool
This model is recommended for the treatment of the foot and ankle area. With a tank capacity of 15 gallons, the whirlpool measures 25"L x 13" W x 15" D.
