The SL350AC and SL350OD models are for self-installation. An installation manual is included and is also conveniently located below. A remote at the top and bottom of the straight track allow for easy use for going up and down stairs. Both models feature numerous safety devices such as a cut-off switch, limit switches, slack cable brake with switch, and seat belt. A swivel seat permits the user to easily pivot getting in and out of the chair.
Once installed, the chair lift is easy to operate. Simply hold down the unit control switch during the entire travel. One side of the switch moves the chair up and one side moves the chair down the stairs. The chair lift will automatically stop when the switch is released or the chair reaches the end of the track.
Options for the SL350AC and SL350OD include wireless call/send control, grocery basket, flip up arms, seat upgrade (21 in wide), key lock, and rail upgrade.
Every two to three months, remember to wipe the inside of the track channels and apply a thin coat of a Teflon based lubricant to the vertical surfaces and track channel where the wheels roll.
Indoor (SL350AC):
The SL350AC model is built for indoor use. For the utmost comfort to the user there are three settings for the backrest and the footrest adjusts to two different heights. This customization and thick padding allows for a comfortable ride. The footrest and seat fold to save space.
Outdoor (SL350OD):
The SLA350OD model is engineered for outdoor use. Durable materials like an extruded aluminum track and marine-grade vinyl seating make the 350OD capable of withstanding any weather that occurs and a temperature range of 0 to 125 degrees. Folding footrest and seat fold save space, even on a narrow stairway. The outdoor model comes with head cover, internal chassis cover, and large waterproof cover included to protect your chair lift when not in use and against harsh weather.
