The Bariatric Bedside Commode Chair from Big John Products is designed for the toileting, showering, and hygiene routines of larger individuals weighing up to 700-pounds.
This commode chair can be used in a number of different ways to assist a bariatric individual, the elderly, those who are physically challenged, or someone who is recovering from surgery. With the included removable under-the-seat sanitary container, this chair can be placed next to a bed for nighttime use, or be put in a shower to be used as a shower chair. Remove the sanitary container, and the commode chair can be utilized over a toilet to provide supplemental support and safety.
The commode chair features a reinforced, non-corrosive, water-resistant, metal frame that is height-adjustable at 1-inch increments between 19-inches to 23-inches. The comfortable seat offers a large sitting surface to accommodate nearly any sized user. The toilet seat cover has ABS hinges for reliability and durability; the hinges also allow the user to sit on the cover or repeatedly open and close it without damaging it.
Included with the commode chair are padded stabilizing arms that provide users with a sturdy foundation to grab onto during the entry/exit of the chair. Non-slip rubber feet will keep the chair from slipping or sliding along hard floor surfaces or wet surfaces, further amplifying user safety and security.
