Is there a product that can be applied to this ramp to help with slippery conditions?
Answer: Yes! According to the manufacturer, "If the ramp surface is covered with snow and or ice, remove before use. Snow accumulation should be shoveled with a plastic shovel or broom and the tread surface swept clean. Calcium chloride salt substitute may be used to melt snow and ice, however, once snow/ice has melted be sure to clean the tread surface with soap and water (avoid alkaloid detergents) to remove the calcium chloride residue. Rinse well and use extra caution when the ramp surface is wet. The calcium chloride salt substitute can be found at any Home Depot or Lowe's store."

Have not installed the ramp yet but appears to be as advertised. Customer service at RehabMart was poor.

The ramp arrived with no real assembly instructions except an exploded view that was too small to see any detail. It took over an hour of laying things out to try and figure out how to assemble them. The rail kit was missing 3 bolts and matching nuts. The rest of the kit was missing over a dozen nuts. For the cost, they should have included extra bolts and nuts.

This is not a custom ramp for the specific height needed, but rather a "one size fits all" kit that will "adjust" a certain amount. This results in rail posts that are not plumb (leg holes are at a fixed degree), and rail sections that stick out too far and can actually be a hazard

There is a square rail post on an inside corner that there is no way to connect two right angle rails to it the way all of the other rails attach. After freeze framing the on-line video that had the same setup, I saw that all they did was use self tapping screws to attach them. That gives it a sloppy and less than professional look.

The longer rail sections were not wrapped up like the shorter ones were, and all had a lot of the paint scratched off. Other parts were also bent. There is no way to inspect all of this upon delivery because its all on a big pallet and the driver is not going to stick around for a hour while it is uncrated. From the outside, everything looked ok.

After the ramp was finally assembled, it does appear to be strong and will do the job. However, if I had to do it again, I would have probably looked elsewhere.

Great. Only issue was the instructions were a little vague. Got it together not problems. If there were a better explanation of what bolts to use where - would have been perfect. Very happy with service, and the ramp itself.

The ramp was perfect, looks very nice and was so easy and quick to install. We have had many compliments. Had to call the ambulance less than a month after it was installed and the ambulance crew complimented us on the ramp. We were amazed how fast it shipped.
