PressureGuard® CFT (tm) In-Home styles come in standard Full, Queen and King bed sizes for use in any home. The therapeutic air cylinder system can be placed in the center of the mattress or on the patient's right side. Half of the mattress is outfitted to deliver dynamic air therapy, while the remainder provides static air support. The air therapy portion can be manufactured into the center of the mattress for a single patient. Or, it can be built into the "patient right side"½ of the mattress -that is, the patient's right hand side as referenced with the patient in the backlying position. The comforting cover is less institutional appearing, in a blue upper moisture barrier fabric.
Safety Edge (tm) Bolsters provide stability and prevent falls or entrapment by adding firm bosters to both sides, with inner edges that contours under pressure to redirect the patient towards the center of the mattress. See diagram below.
Includes all the standard features of other PressureGuard products, including Geo-Matt® anti-shearing top surface, Heel Slope (tm) feature, and Safety Edge (tm) stability bolster system. Air system renewal kit is available as a separate item, see catalog.
PressureGuard CFT requires no set-up, is shipped patient-ready, and is simple to maintain.
