Each unit provides comfortable and effective treatment of precise areas of the body, such as the foot, ankle and leg, to below the knee, with better coverage and greater patient comfort. Construction is all seamlessly welded, and exposed surfaces are polished to a satin finish. The tank has a reinforced rim and is fitted with a fixed raised pedestal, while the bottom has a seamless, rounded coved design to minimize bacteria build up.
Whirlpool Tank
Measuring 28"L x 15" W x 18" D, the tank is made with a seamless, welded construction, fabricated from heavy gauge, type 304 stainless steel, and polished to a satin finish. The tank rim is reinforced with a concealed stainless steel rod, and the tank bottom has a seamless, rounded coved design to minimize bacteria buildup. For mounting to the floor, the tank is fitted with a fixed raised pedestal. A 2" Combination Drain and Overflow and a Filler Spout are provided.
Turbine Raising and Lowering Device
This device permits the adjustment of desired height and direction of water agitation towards the area of the body to be treated. It is spring balanced and provided with a locking device.
Turbine Assembly
The turbine functions as an agitator and emptying device. It is equipped with an Underwriters Laboratory listed 1/2HP jet pump motor protected with an ABS plastic shell, an automatic thermal overload protector, and lifetime-sealed bearings. All parts contacting the water are stainless steel, chrome plated brass or bronze.
Thermometer
A thermometer is provided with a dual scale, adjustable calibration. The stem fits into a retainer to prevent rattle during whirlpool agitation.
Enviro-Glaze Powder Coating
Enviro-Glaze colors are a functional alternate to a stainless steel finish. The smooth, hard coating with various textures of the Enviro-Glaze will not bubble and is chip-resistant. The durable, electro-statically sprayed powder, applied to the outside of the stainless steel fixture then cured at temperatures in excess of 400 degrees F. Vigorous inspection at every step of production assures that each and every fixture meets high-quality standards. The finish creates a beautiful surface that is easily cleaned, maintained and kept in a sanitary condition. A solution of warm water and mild soap is all that is necessary for cleaning the unit.
